How to keep your boys looking and feeling cool as the weather hots up..
Firstly, sorry to everyone who received this post earlier via email with no content! That’s taught me a lesson about leaving my iPad near my one year old!
Anyhow, the sunshine has well and truly made an appearance and my edit of boys’ summer clothes is ready just in time!
My main tip for a stylish boys look is to turn up the sleeves Continue reading
Morning and happy weekend everyone!
It’s a been a crazy old half term week, not helped by the wintery-est of weather. But we’ve had lots of fun nevertheless. The best days have been the days we didn’t make any plans and just took our time at home and did whatever Continue reading
So, when I left the house this morning it was a cold, damp day and was forecast to stay that way. But by midday, the sun was shining and it’s actually quite hot. Rupert’s little outfit is perfect for days like today. Summer staples that can be layered up or stripped off! Shop the look below Continue reading
How cute is this little ensemble?!
You’re thinking its a Petit Bateau £45-er right? Nope, it’s £17.99 from HM!
I was dubious about the quality but I was so pleasantly surprised when it arrived today that i thought it deserved a little mention on here.
Made from really soft, light knitted organic cotton. It’s quite big so I’d be tempted to size down. (Obviously I’m keeping this size to stash away and will get the size down to wear now. And Yes my husband does hate me, thankfully he doesn’t read my posts!!)
Anyway, if you have a little boy (or girl) get it. It’s gorgeous for tiny babies and also for toddlers too as the 12-18 month I just bought is big enough for an average two year old!
I really love a pair of mini dungarees.
Dungarees are my all time favourite go-to outfit for little boys. But I also like them on girls. They’re super practical and stylish and I think it’s a look that older girls can totally pull off too. I know many of you struggle with clothes for your girls from age 9 yrs +.. They’re not teenagers but they’re not little kids anymore. Dungarees might just be the perfect solution.
How I dress my toddler boy
I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised when I entered the realm of baby boys’ clothes when Rupert was born. I think boys can be a lot more casual than girls without looking scruffy. Plus you can have a bit more fun with motifs and things (never with colours. I avoid orange and green at all costs.)
Rupert’s daily uniform is a loose, collarless shirt or henley long sleeve tee with comfortable harem joggers or soft cords. He doesn’t have any jeans and I don’t see the need for them. Especially while he’s crawling and climbing so much. Continue reading
Just came across this little gem from Next and had to share.
It looks like it’s from a cool Scandi brand rather than the high street and is so wearable. I’ve ordered for both of my girls and I’m tempted to buy for next year too. It goes from 3 months- 6 years. Remember I normally size down with Next. Continue reading
