Hello! I’m Sarah. Mum of three, ex PR exec and now self confessed kids’ shopaholic.
It all began in 2011 when I had my first baby, Hattie. I’m quite a savvy shopper and I have always been a huge champion of the Great British high street. I love to feel smug about how stylish I can look without hefty price tags. However, once Hattie arrived I discovered this was not the case when it came to kids’ clothes. And don’t even get me started on the shoes.
There seemed to be nothing on offer but garish pink and (dare I say it, purple), frilly, cheap and nasty ensembles. It became my mission to find a way of dressing my daughter in the same style I liked to dress myself. Simple, trendy but inexpensive! I spent hours scouring the major stores to find one or two really great pieces and eventually managed to build a beautiful but accessible wardrobe for her. I found I was frequently being asked where I bought her clothes from. Four years (and three babies) on, it has become a habit/ hobby/passion of mine. This blog is a therapy for my new obsession. A place I can compile all of the great pieces I have found and hopefully guide others feeling as fed up as I was. I want to bring to the Hip Mini Style an edit of the best on the highstreet for your little ones. Let’s face it, it’s far more fun shopping for them than ourselves these days!
Thank you so much for stopping by, it really means a lot.
I hope you like it.
