The perfect (steal of a) summer dress

Now, I know you’re probably looking out of the window thinking, “is she mad? A summer dress?!” But trust me. Summer will be here before you know it.

Suddenly your kids’ winter wardrobes will be redundant and you’ll have weeks of uniform-less summer holidays ahead of you.  You will excitedly rush out to buy them some lovely summery things. Except there won’t be any left.. You may be lucky enough to spot the fab romper you’ve been looking at for months, but it’ll be in the wrong colour and/ or size. So i’m telling you, buy now or regret later. You really will!

I’m going to be posting about summer essentials very soon, but I didn’t want you to miss out on this little beauty. It’s a lovely seersucker fabric and has a cute rope detail on the shoulders. It comes in every size from 18 months-10 years old, just a shame they don’t do it for us mamas too! Throw on over a cozzie for warmer weather and it can also look cute with a plain or stripe long sleeve tee underneath for chillier climes.

I forgot to mention the best bit! It’s £6.99!!!!

dresssss

  1. HM seersucker dress £6.99 The website keeps going in and out of stock but I’ve seen loads and loads in the stores. It’s worth making the trip in for
  2. Zara handbag £10.99
  3. Young soles London Yellow Sandals £53. Cheaper option are these

Ooooh! I also need to introduce you to my best friend Emma’s beautiful little girl, Florence. Isn’t she just the sweetest little doll? She lives a dreamy life in the Caribbean with her gorgeous newborn sister, Jemima. They are true island babies. Born and raised in Grand Cayman, they spend all their time on the beach, barefooted and basking in sunshine.

Florence is my little beach baby muse and has modelled this dress for us! You’ll be seeing more of her in my summer wardrobe edit! 🙂

Oh and here is my little Hattie cake in the (palest) pink version which we bought in Spain a few weeks ago. Sadly, I’ve not been able to track down the pink in the uk.
